What is The 2024 RAM Rampage?

The RAM Rampage is a compact, unibody truck that will enter RAM into the compact utility truck conversation. The new Dodge truck will join compact pickups like the Ford Maverick and GMC Canyon as top choices for drivers in the OKC area for their excellent capability and versatility. Whether on the worksite, interstate, or country roads, the RAM Rampage offers a confident performance and rugged off-roading styling. Deemed the RAM 1200, the all-new RAM Rampage, is set to hit the US markets in early 2024 after a successful debut in Brazil. 

2024 RAM Rampage – What We Know So Far

The RAM Rampage will be released in three trim levels: Rebel, Laramie, and R/T.

The Rampage pick-up features standard all-wheel drive, a power-opening tailgate, all-LED lighting, and multiple engine options. Rebel and Laramie trims will choose between a 2.0-liter turbodiesel making 170 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque or gas-powered turbocharged 2.0-liter producing 272 hp and 295 lb-ft. The Rampage R/T trim is only available with the gas-powered turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, and all engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. These engine configurations are for the Brazil market RAM Rampage and could see changes in the US version.

The RAM Rampage will carry over technology features from the released version, including a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and dual-zone climate control. The Rampage will also feature standard adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, blind-spot monitoring, and parking sensors. 

Is RAM Rampage available in the US?

Currently, the RAM Rampage is produced and sold in Brazil only. RAM has hinted at bringing the compact truck to America to directly compete with models like the Hyundai Santa Cruz and Ford Maverick. With no official release date announced, Stellantis has said it will reveal the North American version of the RAM Rampage in 2024.
