New RAM 1500 REV Coming Soon to Bob Moore CDJR OKC

RAM is electrifying its lineup, as the new RAM 1500 REV is scheduled to hit production. The RAM REV promises to redefine expectations for an electric truck, offering best-in-class towing and payload numbers while boasting a max driving range of over 500 miles. While the REV is a brand-new nameplate for RAM, you’ll find plenty of familiarity. The REV sticks closely to the successful 1500 formula, offering dependable power, numerous amenities, and the best styling in the class. The new RAM electric truck does have some tricks up its sleeve, though, with a couple of battery packs, a front trunk, and a distinct fascia. The RAM 1500 REV is set to release alongside the RAM 1500 Ramcharger, another 1500 variant that offers a plug-in hybrid alternative to the all-electric RAM REV. The Ramcharger offers nearly 150 miles of electric driving range before switching to gasoline, while the REV can achieve up to 500 miles. While we’re still gathering details about RAM’s newest nameplate, we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available. For now, we’ll highlight everything you need to know about the new 1500 REV.

RAM 1500 REV Charge Range and Towing Capacity

The REV’s battery packs are the star of the show. The base model comes well-equipped with a 168 kWh battery, which promises to deliver over 350 miles of all-electric range. A larger, 229 kWh battery is also available, offering over 500 miles of driving range. The RAM 1500 REV will utilize an 800-volt architecture for DC fast charging, capable of up to 350.0 kWh. That should get you 100 miles of range per 10 minutes of optimal charging. The base model promises 654 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque. The RAM 1500 REV towing capacity is best in class for an electric vehicle truck, measuring in at 14,000 lbs. It also boasts best-in-class payload capacity, up to 2,625 lbs. Details surrounding the performance of the larger battery pack have not been released yet, but we expect it to run from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds. The larger battery will likely reduce towing ability due to the increased curb weight. The RAM EV offers four-wheel steering and will also provide an adjustable air suspension. AWD comes standard on every model.

RAM REV Trim Levels and Configuration

For its first production cycle, the RAM REV’s body will be limited to a single configuration. It will come standard with a crew cab with a short bed, but we expect optionality to increase as production continues. The REV should follow the base 1500’s trim levels pretty closely. Pricing will be confirmed closer to release.
