The standard Hornet GT and GT Plus are powered by a 2.0L Hurricane turbo engine that produces 268 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. In comparison, the Hornet R/T PHEV model will be powered by a 1.3 L 4-cylinder that’s paired with a 90-kW electric motor that creates 285 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of combined torque. If you’re looking for more power and efficiency, we’d recommend the Hornet R/T models for their slightly quicker engine and 30 miles of electric driving range. Depending on the journey, R/T Drivers can select between three driving modes, Hybrid, Electric and E-save modes. Overall, the standard Hornet GT offers a fuel efficiency of 24/21/29 mpg (Combined/City/Highway).
The 2023 Dodge Hornet presents a bold exterior with a sleek front grille, distinct lines, LED headlights, and taillights.
