The gas-powered Pacifica has a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 287 horsepower. It’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission that offers either FWD or AWD options. While we wouldn’t rely on the Pacifica for heavy-duty towing, you can squeak out about 3,600 lbs of towing capacity from the minivan. The Pacifica gets 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The tank can hold up to 19 gallons of fuel, offering a max range of about 532 miles. The Pacifica’s interior is its selling point. It offers a well-spaced cabin with plenty of extra storage, from extra cubbies and cupholders to slide-out bins. The base configuration has room for up to eight with a second-row bench, but if you install captain’s chairs in the second row, the seating capacity decreases to seven.
